The idea behind the original Pond & Garden Guard was developed in March 2009 after losing several KOI to Heron ourselves. Following the creation and testing of a few prototypes we settled on a design which provided a motion/heat activated device which would produce a bright blue strobe light and pulsating buzzer. Another key objective was to keep the unit small so it would not distract from the beauty of a pond or garden area. At just 7.5 x 5.5 x 4.5 inches, the Pond & Garden Guard has a small footprint and the 4 mounting holes in the base allow for easy mounting to fencing, posts or the optional stand.
